I was already an avid fly angler when I was lured to the world of tenkara in 2009 and became an early adopter in the US. Not content with tenkara as just a hobby I ran Three Rivers Tenkara for a number of years selling Tenkara Times and ONI Rods.
Though, I’d never use the word “expert” to describe myself I am enthusiastic and over the years have given talks on tenkara and fixed-line nymphing in numerous states.
I’ve contributed artistically to Tenkara USA, Tenkara Tanuki and DRAGONTail Tenkara as well as the Midwest Tenkara Fest.
Currently I’m also a contributing editor over at Tenkara Angler.
